What is Devral

Devral is free. You do not need an account.
How it works
CapCut to Premiere Pro
- Select the CapCut folder.
- Select the project.
- Devral converts the CapCut draft to an FCP7 XML file. The zip downloads.
- In Premiere, use File → Import. Select the xml file.
Premiere Pro to CapCut
- Select the prproj file.
- Select the sequence.
- With Chrome or Edge, Devral writes the draft straight into the CapCut folder. With another browser, an install package downloads instead.
- Open CapCut. The project is in the list.

Is Devral free?
Yes. No account. No sign-up. No payment.
Where do my files go?
Nowhere. The conversion runs in the browser. No file goes to a server.
Which CapCut versions does it support?
Desktop CapCut drafts. Devral is tested with CapCut 9.2 on Mac. Windows tests are in progress. Devral does not support mobile CapCut projects.
Which file does Premiere open?
An FCP7 XML file. Use File → Import in Premiere. If Premiere cannot find the media, link it with Link Media.
Do effects and transitions move?
No. Video clips, audio clips, tracks, and cuts move. Effects, transitions, text layers, and speed changes do not move. Devral lists skipped items in RAPOR.md, inside the zip.
Does it also convert Premiere to CapCut?
Yes. Select a prproj file. Select a sequence. Devral makes a CapCut draft. With Chrome or Edge, it writes the draft straight into the CapCut folder.
Does it work offline?
Yes, after you load the page once.
What do the Collector and Installer tools do?
They are small helper programs. The Collector finds your project and zips it. The Installer puts the draft into the CapCut folder. Both are unsigned, so Windows may show a warning.
